Day Fifteen, and it’s Our Second Check-In Wednesday!!!

Woot!!!

We’re past two full weeks now, and it’s time for our Second Check-In Wednesday. We had close to fifty non-Rubies check in last week saying they had MADE THEIR GOALS, and it was very inspiring to see! We’re so glad so many people are getting a boost from the Festival and keeping those creative fires burning through all the wintery weather we’ve been having.

Remember, you need to check in on the REGULAR RUBY BLOG today to be eligible for Swag. (I’d put a link here, but technical problems persist on the Festival site…sigh).

Just scroll back up to the top of this page where it says “From the Ruby Blog” and click on the blue title “Winter Writing Festival Week Two Check-In” to jump straight to the Ruby blog, or type rubyslipperedsisterhood.com into your browser.

I hope you all made your goals! I’m stuck at 12 points for the moment since it’s finals week at my school and I’m grading or meeting with students every spare minute of the day. I got up this morning at 4 a.m. my time to finish a stack of papers I need to return at the start of my first period exam….and will probably be up past midnight tonight. Sigh. But the weekend is coming, and I’ll catch up then!!

Have a great, productive day!

I’ve put in my goals for the week–keeping track in personal home journal.

The past few days I’ve managed over 4,000 words and trying to maintain my workshop lessons, too.

This past week in all I’ve done over 9,000 words between two W.I.P’s so I don’t think I’m doing badly. Could be better but life happens, too.

    Hugs to all!
