Happy Saturday! It’s Lucky Day Thirteen!

Personally, I’ve always regarded thirteen as lucky. You know the whole yin / yang principle, and the way there’s a little spot of yin in yang, and a little spot of yang in yin? I figure so many people get scared of thirteen, I can grab the little spot of luck everyone else is ignoring.
I’m ready to seize this Saturday, and catch up with my goals!
Luckily, there are two scheduled chat room times today…and more tomorrow.
Good luck, everyone!
Good morning! I hope you all have a great day of writing or relaxing or maybe spending the day reading a good book. We just through a snow storm here in Maine and know it’s going to come in cold this weekend and go into next week, with another stome coming in on Wednesday . So I guess that will give me a lot of time to write, becuase I wont want to go out in the cold.
Have a good weekend
Not a 13 person, but luckily I’m starting a new story, so I gave myself two points, one for an hour of research, organizing, character work, etc., and one for the 500 words I wrote. This is my first full-length contemporary paranormal, and only my third try at single-title length, but the challenge makes it exciting. Thanks for being here even on weekends, Elisa.
Thanks, Nancy! Good to have you here!
And, Emily, I envy you the snow….it’s already springlike here in California, which makes it very hard to hole up and write. I actually had to take my six-year-old SWIMMING the other day. Outdoors.
While I’d like to be rid of these single digits and the endless white stuff, it’s a good thing it’s not spring here. I’d have to be out in the garden to recharge. You’re stronger than I, Elisa!
Lucky for sure. Day Thirteen has turned out to be a Baker’s Dozen day for me. I hit then exceeded my 500 word per day goal by 200 words.
High five, Michal! You’ve been amazing all through the Festival!
I met Anne Marie for a write-in this morning and managed 600+ words, exceeding my goal.
