LAST DAY OF WEEK ONE: Day Seven!!
Posted by Elisa Beatty Jan 16 2011, 3:01 am
By the end of today, if you got the bonus point for signing up on January 10, and you’ve met all your daily goals, you should be up to EIGHT points out of 50!
Be sure to update your point total on your personal progress bar. To update, login, go under Edit Profile, scroll to the bottom of your profile page, and add in the ACTUAL NUMBER OF *TOTAL* POINTS you’ve earned so far in the little box beside your progress bar. The progress bar will jump forward in a satisfying way that will remind you how much great work you’ve done so far!!
If you’re just joining us, NO WORRIES! You can set your goals any way you want, and you can feel free to award yourself whatever bonus points are needed to make up for missed days. The emphasis is on making progress, and we’ve got until the end of February to get there!
I’m glad there’s a daytime chat sprint today. Really looking forward to that! Feel like I need the extra encouragement to get into my ms today. I’ve already made a point for writing a couple of blog posts for this upcoming week, but I haven’t worked on my own story yet and the day’s slipping away.
See you all in a few hours for the sprint!
I’ve been up far too long already this morning (insomnia is my best friend at times), but I’ve already met my goal!
Yay for insomnia! The writer’s best friend.
Another day when I could easily have stopped at my club100 minimum, but pushed through another 100 words for WWF. Not huge progress, but an itty-bitty extra boost.
Progress doesn’t have to be huge to pave the way to success, it just has to be. Well done, Nancy.
Ok. It’s 9:45 p.m. EST and I need to do yesterday’s work AND today’s work to finish the week with all my points.
200 words + 10 pages revised.
Off to work I go now that I’ve made my commitment public!
I was in church most of today in services commemorating MLK Jr. and so came home about 8PM doubly inspired. I made my point by writing over double my 500 word goal (1,127 words).
I’m telling myself that “cutting 10 pages” is the same as “deep revising 10 pages,” and I’m done for the night. Back to it tomorrow!
Day 7: 40 minutes revising/rewriting/typing up notes.
Make sure to check out the new sprints just added! We have some new times for those of you in different time zones!
